In honour of being named on the NI 40 Under 40 list for my role on the board at Angel Eyes NI, I wanted to create a fundraising challenge to support the charity. I'm only a small part of an amazing team that work tirelessly to support the families of children who are blind or partially sighted.
I plan to run 40km throughout the month of May, hopefully consisting of a weekly Park Run and 1-2 small, midweek training sessions. I know 40km isn't a massive challenge, but having recently pulled a calf muscle playing hockey, this is me really only getting on my feet again, trying to overcome the fitness and the injury!
Any small contribution is greatly appreciated to help continue providing these invaluable services.
