We plan to employ a professional film-maker to film the Chorale rehearsing and performing at a workshop and concert(s), over a period of two days. He will then spend a further two days editing the film, producing a number of videos that we can use on our website, on MKWeb, on our Facebook page and on YouTube, to increase awareness of the choir and promote our concerts and other activities in the local area.

In 2014, MK Chorale celebrates its 40th birthday! We'd like everyone to be able to see us in action on video, demonstrating what we have achieved in that time. The Chorale was one of the earliest MK arts organisations, but MK as a community has now generated an amazing variety of cultural activities since the town/city first began to develop. You only have to look at MKWeb to discover just how much is happening that you could share in. So join us in celebrating our 40th season of performances!

Our main aim is to raise the profile of the choir, and to show our members' enjoyment of what we do. We hope this will encourage recruitment of new members, and increased audiences for our concerts. In addition, current members of the choir will probably find the video a useful learning aid to improve performances. We hope that Milton Keynes will recognise our achievement in continuing to develop over the past 40 years.
