435-mile Bike Challenge for Arbour Vale School
Starting Sunday 8th March, I am taking on a gruelling 700km/435miles of coastal cycling from the Hook of Holland to Hamburg Germany over 6.5 days for Arbour Vale School, where my brother Dean is Development Manager.
Arbour Vale School is a large SEN school which caters for 320 pupils aged 2 to 19 with a range of educational needs, including pupils with severe learning difficulties with profound and multiple needs.
The school has just embarked on a Minibus Appeal hoping to raise £18,000 to contribute towards a 16-seater wheelchair accessible minibus. A minibus is a vital resource helping to provide invaluable opportunities for our students to go into the community and gain self-confidence, work and life experience.
Please note - if you are a UK taxpayer please tick the gift aid option as this gives us an extra 25% on each donation.
Thank you
