Funding Grant application in from a local mum’s daughter
My mum got diagnosed with breast cancer stage 4 just over 8 months ago,when she told me this I was devastated it’s always been just me and my mum so hearing that not only my mum but my best friend was going to have to go through pain for the next year broke me she’s officially finished all off her chemo and is now just waiting for her operation I want to do something nice for her to show her how appreciative I am to her since she’s still been the best mum helping me with everything whilst she’s been going through this tough time
Riff Raff gave Samantha Kelly a ring to hear about her toughest year ever. Just 51 Sam has had a hip replacement and soon after discovered she has breast cancer stage 4. Tough treatment followed, Lymph nodes out, Chemo done and this has been very invasive will Sam suffering terribly with skin problems and infection. Too many antibiotics. She’s now facing a mastectomy and Radio-therapy.
We rang this lady out of the blue and you know what she was an absolute beauty in terms of how she received the call and accepted the offer of a leg up from The Riff Raff Society in the form of some funds for whatever she wants to do for herself or with her daughter.
Great pleasure for us to support you Sam. Please pray for sam and for her feet in particular at the moment as they are currently not healing well from infection after her treatments.
