Every now and then people slip through the gaps and end up on the floor. But when the pandemic hit last year, that was a big whack to the box. Unemployment rates soared. Poverty has soared. Food poverty has soared.
It's organisations like the One Can Trust that have stepped into pick up the pieces - helping families and households with supplies of food and supplies. The demands on their resources have tripled in the last 18 months.
So pop a couple of quid their way, to help them support people in need. Go on.
