A team of intrepid trekkers will be climbing to the summit of Mount Toubkal, the highest mountain in North Africa, sitting within the Atlas Mountains. Mount Toubkal sits at 4,167m above sea level and is around 4 x higher than England's highest mount, Scafell Pike.
They will be rewarded with the sunrise of a lifetime once they reach the top after a very early start, and they will earn the views from the Marrakech Plain and High Atlas peaks all the way to the Anti-Atlas and the Sahara.
The team are taking part in this 2 day challenge to support Age UK Plymouth and the work they do in supporting people aged 50+, those living with dementia and carers, across the city of Plymouth.
Your support is hugely appreciated - thank you!
