Team Fundraisers
This month, the London office of Arnold & Porter has split into three teams for some competitive fundraising. Our team is raising money for Tower Hamlet’s Friends and Neighbours, who have been providing support to lonely and socially isolated vulnerable adults in Tower Hamlets since 1947. Each year they visit over 250 people in their homes and hospitals through a small staff team and dedicated volunteers. Over 90% of the people visited are referred with depression, and over 30% have been diagnosed with dementia; the average age of our clients is 79, and over 70% live alone. This has been a particularly vital service over the past year, and Tower Hamlet’s Friends and Neighbours desperately needs additional funds so they can continue to support people impacted by the pandemic.
