We are walking a mile barefoot on Flanders Fields to raise money for Bonny Downs Community Association, an organisation in London Borough of Newham which supports local families living in poverty. We would like to recognise the hard work the BDCA Poverty Response team does to help these families overcome difficulties they are facing, for example by providing shoes for their children who on many occasions have one pair of shoes that do not fit their size!
