DorPIP is a registered charity and do not receive any statutory funding. This means that they exist entirely because of the generosity of donations, local business', grant-making organisations, and fundraising. Without this support they wouldn't be able to reach out to the new parents across our county - at the point when they often need it the most. I've chosen to fundraise for DorPIP. By donating, you will help give the best possible start in life to many little ones in our county.

"We had our son, Avery, in 2023 who was born in as an emergency due to him being unwell. His first week of his life was spent in intensive care at Poole Hospital's NICU department. Whilst Avery was in hospital, nurses spoke to us about DorPIP and how they could support us. A couple of months later I received an invite to a new dads online course run by DorPIP and Mark Williams. This course lasted 6 weeks and was very insightful and extremely helpful to talk and share my experiences with other new dads in my area. Mark himself had some good advice and shared lots of useful information which truly added so much value to this course. My wife was also invited to several courses through DorPIP and signposted to other services that may support her which were so beneficial to her and to Avery. For me, DorPIP represents a service that is truly helpful to new parents. They operate with care and empathy to deliver such a great service. Long may it continue!
