Friends and Family,
I’m reaching out to ask for your support for something very close to my heart.
I am raising money for Angel Eyes, an incredible charity that supports young people with visual impairments. Angel Eyes provides practical help, specialist resources, and—most importantly—a community where children and young people can feel understood, confident, and empowered.
As someone who lives with a severe visual impairment and hydrocephalus, I know first-hand how important that kind of support can be. The challenges can be daily and lifelong, but having the right encouragement and opportunities makes such a difference. Angel Eyes helps young people realise that their sight loss does not define their limits or their future.
To raise funds, I will be taking on a rope climb challenge. This will not be easy for me, but that’s exactly why I want to do it. I want to push myself beyond my comfort zone to show what is possible and to help ensure other young people with visual impairments get the support they deserve.
Every donation—no matter how big or small—will help Angel Eyes continue their life-changing work. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser would also mean the world to me.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story and for any support you can give. Together, we can help more young people feel confident, capable, and never alone.
With heartfelt thanks,
Alicia
