I'm running the Lausanne 5k on the 3rd of May. As some people know, I've been dealing with foot/ankle injury problems in the last couple of years, so this is my first actual 5k since before the pandemic. (Let's see if I can complete it without darkening my physiotherapist's door.) I'd like to mark the occasion by raising money for a charity whose mission I admire, Gendered Intelligence, at a difficult time for LGBTQ+ rights in the UK. I'd be very grateful if you'd consider kicking in a few quid, to motivate me not to chicken out mid-race!
ETA: I will be matching the first £100 donated to this fundraiser. Thank you for your generosity! You've inspired me both to raise my target and to run faster, blisters notwithstanding.
