Artie's 10km challenge 23rd January 2021
Hello, my name is Artie. When Mummy and Daddy told me about the coronavirus and that is affecting the whole world, I was worried about how people would have enough food to keep them healthy. I have a book that taught me all about food banks (It's a no money day) that can help people so I have been taking food to a collection nearby. I decided that I would raise some money for our local food bank and to help people have enough food to eat.
In the first lockdown, I learned to ride my bike and have started running a little bit with mummy and Daddy.
For my own challenge, I have decided to run 2km ( around the duck pond and back!) and then hop on my bike and cycle 6km and finish with another 2km run. I am most excited about eating jelly sweets between the run and cycle for extra energy!
Please donate if you can, thank you, love Artie xx
