Ex paratroopers myself + Spence
I am climbing Mount Everest on Saturday on a treadmill! With a friend called Spence Hawkins. Fairly easy to arrange.
After being in contact with @mensmindsmatter and having a chat to them on the phone. I have received a T-shirt and just getting a few things set up in place for Saturday! This charity is a very good charity and my reason for picking this one is because they help loads of men across the UK to support their mental health etc! They save lives!
After going through tough times myself I know what it’s like going down a dark path and to come out the other side! There’s always light at the end of the tunnel.
Hoping to motivate and inspire people along the way.
Considering it is men’s mental health week, I want to do my bit and raise some funds and awareness! It’s important to encourage younger and people in general to speak up if there struggling.
I am setting up the fundraiser soon! I’ll be happy with the target as £200 as I have raised a lot of money 2/3 months ago! For mental health matters! Of course more money the better for the organisation to support people with mental health!
Let’s go! Going to be painful. No pain no gain! Tough times create tough people.
29,029 feet, 20 empire state buildings, 58,000 stairs! What could possibly go wrong! Ah I got a 100 miler 2 days after aswell!
