Team Not so Fast, Not so Furious (BSO IU)
We are running in aid of the Huntington's Disease Association NI.
Huntington's disease is a progressive brain disorder that causes uncontrolled movements, emotional problems, and loss of thinking ability. It is a rare condition with only approximately 250 people in NI suffering from the condition.
Huntington's is a genetic condition meaning that whilst it is rare, it is likely that a family with HD in their genetics will have unfortunately have multiple members affected by the disease.
As HD is rare, this means that awareness and funding for HDANI is limited. At the minute there are some really promising trials and research going on but obviously all of these things require money.
We hope to raise as much money as possible to help advance this research and support local people living with Huntington's Disease.
Well done everyone, you all did so well!
