Bamboo running the Great South Run

Three members of staff at Bamboo are running the Great South Run to raise money and awareness for the wonderful local charity - George's Rockstars. George was a local Hampshire lad who sadly passed away aged 6 following a battle with Cancer. While George was receiving treatment in hospital he would love the music therapy sessions which would occasionally take place. Music Therapy is not funded by the NHS. George's Rockstars was set up by George's parents to help fund music therapy for sick children in hospitals. Their fundraising efforts have so far seen a music therapist be employed at the QA Hospital in Portsmouth and currently the aim is to fund a similar therapist in Southampton.
