Beth's Boys FC

Formed in 2019, we are a group of friends coming together to remember and celebrate Bethany Tiller through the power of football, fundraising for various charities chosen by the Tillers. We are Beth's Boys FC! Our current chosen charity is George's Rockstar's - a charity that we are over the moon to support.

Over the coming months, we will be arranging and playing a number of football matches with the aim of raising as much money as we can in Bethany's memory to help others at their time of need. 

So, who is Bethany and why are we doing this?  

Bethany was born on the 8th October 2001 and grew up in Denmead. Beth loved to dance and music was a huge part of her life and was well known for her great sense of humour and cheeky personality. Although quiet and unassuming, Beth touched the lives of everyone who knew her, even those after her diagnosis in November 2016 with Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Beth never let her illness define who she was, never losing her sense of humour. The strength & stubbornness she bravely fought with had everyone in awe. Her smile & positivity were always the things mentioned when talked about. Although sadly, Beth lost her battle in April 2018, her infectious personality & courageous outlook ensure she'll never be forgotten.

We were put together as a group of strangers to play in a charity football tournament - but quickly realised just how close we were becoming and how strong of a bond was being formed, Why? Because we all had one thing in common - ensuring that Bethany is not forgotten. Bethany's story, the strength and bravery she showed during her fight made each and every single one of us want to continue her fight and ensure that Beth's memory lives on.
