10 years of the ROF and back for my second go, which proves that pain fades but bad decisions live forever. Ride one was in 2023, which also happens to be the last time I got on a bike. This won't consist of just one challenge, but I'll be taking on:
'Dry April'
Dover to Ypres return (May) - 170 miles
Cambridge ride (July) - 120 miles
Swan Swang (August) - 55 miles
The reason I’ve signed up again (apart from clearly enjoying suffering) is Willen Hospice, who cared for my mum in her final days. The compassion, dignity, and support they gave her — and our family — was truly incredible, and something I’ll always be grateful for. So if my suffering can help support Willen Hospice and the incredible work they do for other families, then it’s 100% worth it. Please donate generously, your money goes to an amazing cause — and I promise to earn every penny in discomfort.
