Inspired by Harmony Fire’s recent Foundation volunteering day down at EAQ Manor Farm, Harmony’s very own Brendan Pavey will be tackling the famous Ben Nevis climb on Friday 4th June to raise money for the fantastic local charity.
EAQ Manor Farm is an outdoor and equine-assisted learning centre set in 12 acres of beautiful Somerset countryside. Set up 3 years ago by a husband and wife team they welcome those of all ages seeking acceptance, connection and nurture, personal growth, and recovery. Children, young people, and adults who are overcoming isolation, exclusion, and social and emotional difficulties or who just love being outdoors amongst friendly people and animals find the space and opportunity here to grow their confidence and skills.
“Hiking has always been something I’ve enjoyed and so this 10-mile walk will tick off the tallest mountain in the UK. Will be completing this with my Dad and another friend (also passionate about mountain hiking!)”.
