On sunday the 1st of March I will be running the Brighton Half Marathon dressed as Frodo Baggins. Whilst I am not running to Mordor sweating in a heavy brown cloak may feel like Mount Doom is next to me.

I am running for a charity I am very passionate about called Investing in Children. Currently in the process of Volunteering for them, they do amazing work and stand to ensure that children and young people have a voice in decisions that affect their lives. They work with schools, foster carers, social care services, and community groups to promote children’s rights, wellbeing, and participation. Their aim is to empower young people, build confidence, and help shape services around the real experiences and views of children.

Their work makes a real difference to young people’s confidence and future opportunities, and I’m proud to raise funds to help them continue their vital impact in our community.
