A Self-Made Legacy: A Labour of Love
For over two decades, we have proudly operated as a self-funded entity. Our dedicated committee,
driven by pure passion for the sport, has tirelessly poured their time, energy, and resources into
building MK Air. We've meticulously managed expenses like ground maintenance, equipment upkeep,
league fees, and insurance, all while facing a constant uphill battle against rising costs.
This self-made legacy, while a source of immense pride, has also created limitations. Our current
equipment lacks the necessary sophistication to provide our players with the best possible training
environment. Outdated practice equipment, inadequate practice nets, and the absence of a proper
pitch roller all hinder our ability to offer a truly professional experience.
Building the Future: Encouraging Girls and Boys to Play Cricket
Despite these challenges, MK Air Cricket Club thrives on a spirit of resilience and unwavering
commitment to the future of cricket in Milton Keynes. Our junior section boasts five vibrant teams,
including a unique mixed-sex team that embodies our dedication to inclusivity. Witnessing the
enthusiasm and passion with which these young players approach the game fills us with immense joy.
We take immense pride in nurturing their talent and fostering a love for the sport.
in order to allow our volunteers and the coaching staff an ability to provide quality training which will
benefit the members particularly the juniors and women/girls.
We need
1) The current Astro turf is damaged and dangerous so we are seeking to replace it with a better one
2) The current training mat and nets are damaged and not usable

3) Storage container to store our training and other logistics in helping our volunteers and coaches to
avoid wasting crucial time.
4) Portable marquees
5) Training equipment
6) Mobile Caged Nets to be able to practice on grass pitch
