Roll up, roll up and guess the weights of the Caley-Newcombe twins! We are very excited to be welcoming our twin boys to the world this September and obviously Lauren wants to make them little activists before they’ve even seen the outside of her womb. We’d love for you to get involved in guessing the boys’ weights at birth for a great cause here in Cardiff, The Birth Partner Project. We’re so grateful for all of your love and support and there’s no obligation; but if you have a few quid spare and would like to get involved then wonderful – plus there's a prize! The best guess wins £50 cash money. £3 minimum donation per guess. One guess should include a weight for Twin A and a weight for Twin B. Guess as many times as you want. The closest pairs of guesses will be the winners. Please message us with your weight guesses once you’ve donated. Things you may want to consider:-       Lauren’s birth weight was 8lb9oz (and she’s the runt in a long line of beefy babies)-       Patrick’s t was 7lb8oz-       At 20w scan: Twin A measured 19w4d, Twin B 20w exactly-       At 24w scan: Twin A 23w1d, Twin B 24w2d-       Average length of pregnancy for twins is 36w3d -       Lauren is not willing to answer questions about how much weight she’s gained in pregnancy – that’s between me, Ben & Jerry  TBPPThe Birth Partner Project work tirelessly to try to ensure that no woman in Cardiff need birth alone. They work with women who do not yet have their own support networks locally and provide support throughout pregnancy, birth and the early weeks with their new baby. Many of the women who have been supported by the project are seeking asylum and have found themselves moved to Cardiff during the later stages of pregnancy. Support from a compassionate and trained volunteer birth partner at this time is invaluable and this local, grassroots project needs our help to allow it to continue to help women in Cardiff.
