I'm running the Cambridge Half Marathon for Concrete Rose, a local Cambridge charity devoted to providing support to 16-23 year olds who lack sufficient family support including care leavers, those at risk of homelessness, those estranged from family, unaccompanied asylum seekers, and young parents. Concrete Rose partners with families to provide supported lodgings, and the Widening Participation Team at Cambridge University to deliver mentoring scheme for students who are care-experienced and/or estranged from their family
