Cardiff Foodbank was chosen as the Rt. Hon. The Lord Mayor of Cardiff's Charity of the Year 2024.

About Cardiff Foodbank:
Last year, we gave out over 20,000 emergency food parcels to people in crisis across Cardiff. We have already given out over 2% more emergency parcels this year compared to the same period last year. It isn't right that people don't have enough money to afford the essentials like food, and it isn't sustainable.

Our vision is that no one in Cardiff goes hungry. Your donations ensure that we are able to provide emergency food to people in crisis for as long as we're needed, whilst we work towards a future where our food bank isn't needed.

An update about this fundraising page:

The Lord Mayor, Cllr Jane Henshaw, was a huge supporter of our work and we were deeply saddened to learn that she passed away. We have received offers of support from people who have been so moved by her passing and the work of the Lord Mayor for Cardiff, who would like to fundraise for Cardiff Foodbank in her memory.

After speaking to the Deputy Lord Mayor for Cardiff, we have updated this fundraising page for anyone who would like to donate or raise funds for Cardiff Foodbank in memory of The Lord Mayor of Cardiff, Cllr Jane Henshaw.
