Castle Eaton Village Scarecrow Trail runs each year. This year our theme is Key Workers who helped keep the country moving during Lockdown, to say thank you we are donating all monies raised to our chosen charity in Swindon, Wiltshire called Friends of Twigs an independent charity which gives financial and practical support to TWIGS and the Olive Tree Café, two mental health projects in Swindon.
TWIGS (Therapeutic Work In Gardening in Swindon) provides horticultural and related craft therapy and the Olive Tree Café provides positive work-related opportunities for people recovering from mental illness. Both projects give people a chance to regain confidence and self-esteem and to learn new skills and can be transforming.
Mental health affects one in four of us at sometime in our lives directly or indirectly and has become more prevalent during lockdown.
Your donation will help us raise as much as we can to support such a deserving charity. Thank you
