I recently completed my first marathon, which for anyone who knows me knows how much of an achievement this is coming from a sprinter who finds anything greater than 200m a long way to run. I was determined to complete the entire distance and succeeded on April 10th in completing the Brighton Marathon. A huge thank you to my friends and family who cheered me on the whole way and believed in me no matter what.
I have therefore set up this fundraiser to raise money for a Brighton charity that supports men, women and children who are survivors of sexual violence and abuse. Each donation helps in their mission to deliver accessible, survivor-centred services and empowers the community to stand up against sexual violence, abuse and harassment through education, training and campaigning. This charity is committed to reaching all survivors (age, disability, ethnicity, gender identity, religion, sex, sexual orientation).
You can help survivors network with a donation of any amount to make an impact.
Thank you!
