Hello my name is Chris I am climbing kilimanjaro on the 15th of feb which will take 9 days up until the 24th to raise funds to help the homeless during this time i will climb 20,0000 feet and sleep on the mountain. I have fully funded this trip myself and any money raised goes directly to the charity. I work for the homeless pastors who are a christian street outreach charity helping people who are currently sleeping rough, homeless and trapped in addiction, my role includes getting people off the streets through emergency accommodation, rehabs and signposting to relevant services aswell as running faith based light groups sothey can fully address there substance misuse issues and rebuild there life's and regain everything they lost through the battles they have been through and the storms of life they have faced. Our aim is to make sure they are fully supported every step of the way until they are ready to become independent, my reason for going in to this kind of work and doing what I do is because I have find it in my heart to help people who are facing struggles in life and find themselves in these situations as I was once in the same situation and I want to make a difference to the lost and broken and people who are struggling in life and found themselves homeless through a variety of reasons.
Currently there is a massive influx of homelessness and its heart-breaking to see that people are out on the streets and not everyone can be housed, we are currently struggling to sustain funds to provide items such as tents, sleeping pods warm clothing and accommodation we provide
please can you support our cause to help our homeless people across the north west
thankyou
