Team Fundraisers

An indoor training/recreation area will help us to provide football training to our teams without incurring hiring costs. The recreation area will be used for providing health and fitness training to the community and holding social functions. The smaller training pitch will be used for training for players from ages of 6 years up in Gaelic football skills. It will help to provide training to teams and enable us to host underage blitzes and competitions and other outdoor events during the year.

Why they need our service

We are hoping to raise money to upgrade our club facilities which at present consists of one playing field and changing rooms. This field is overused by our 13 Gaelic football teams (underage and senior)In order to cope with the demands of training and football matches. An additional smaller training pitch and an indoor training / recreation area will save on our costs of hiring external facilities for training and enable us to host social events for the benefit of the club and community.

Plan and expected results

There are over 350 members in our club from ages of 6 years up to 75 years at different levels coaches, players, volunteer's parents and serving officers. With the upgrade of our club facilities, we expect to double our membership and engage more people within the community through their interest not only in sport, health and fitness but also social events to bring people together and steer them away from anti-social behaviour by encouraging them to live a healthy, active and happy life.
