Thank you for supporting our Community Cake fundraiser on the 15th of August 2025, 2-4pm .

This is part of Afternoon Tea Week and has been an idea that youth voice has discussed for a while.

The idea is based on Community Soup but young people preferred cake! 

Plan: we invite up to 40 guests, councilors, professionals interested local folks etc who will buy a £5 ticket the hope is that this totals £200 

Every guest gets a cuppa and a cake (kindly donated cupcakes 🙂)

3 young people or teams of young people prepare a pitch to present to guests, guests then vote and the winning pitch then has £200 (in care of SYC) to make their idea a reality. Ideas so far are for trips, activities, equipment, musical instruments etc.
