To fund 1 hour of part-time worker: £12 an hour If funding is sufficient, we will be able to provide increased hours to support those in a pregnancy-related crisis, and those facing any kind of baby loss, including miscarriage, stillbirth and after medical or elective abortion. Clients needing counselling support often come for a minimum of 12 weeks, with many clients attending for multiple sessions over several months whilst they process complex grief - the need is great.

Due to increase in demand for services, and increase in referrals from local agencies, we want to employ a Counsellor for two days a week for 6 months initially. This post will help to support the increasing numbers of vulnerable clients contacting the centre, as well as engage in further development work.

Many more people could be seen for counselling and supported through their loss and grief experiences at a time where there is limited specific provision in the services in our area. An employed Counsellor for two days a week could see 4-6 more clients regularly and help us reduce our waiting list.
