We are running this project for extra vulnerable members who maybe shielding, in isolation, cannot afford to shop (as having children home is costing more) struggling to get delivery slots so we are offering a weekly hamper full of meals and essentials.

Due to Covid we have a lot of members in need. Our single parents are already vulnerable within society but Covid has increased this for many reasons. A lot of our single parents rely on maintenance payments but due to lock down and other reasons the non resident parent has had to stop payments. Some of our single parents have gone to to furlough so a very tight budget has become even tighter. Due to delays in payments from new benefit claims / government schemes our members are struggling

We are currently helping members but there is further need for this project to keep on running. We are helping members daily. We need to also increase our area of where we can deliver and help members. I have volunteers ready and waiting to distribute these hampers
