I aim to cycle around Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and Norfolk, virtually, on my exercise bike starting at Ely Foodbank and heading for Newmarket, Bury St Edmunds and Stowmarket on my first day; then on to Ipswich and north to Norfolk.

Day 1 I have ‘cycled from Ely Foodbank to Newmarket Foodbank (13.4 miles) then on to Bury (15.6 miles) and Stowmarket (18.5miles) a total of 47.5 miles! Tomorrow I head for Ipswich Foodbank.

Day 2 I have been to Ipswich and Woodbridge Foodbanks and have stopped at Framlingham. 91 miles now. Tomorrow it’s on to Southwold and Lowestoft.

Day 3 Up early today to beat the heat! 19.8 miles to Southwold, 13.8 to Lowestoft Foodbank and 12.9 miles to Great Yarmouth a total of 46.5 miles today and 136.5 miles overall.

Day 4 via Norwich to Cromer Foodbank 184 miles in total.

Day 5 From Cromer to Holt, Fakenham and Swaffham Foodbanks 42 miles making a total of 226 miles.

Day 6 From Swaffham to KingLynn, Wisbech and Peterborough Foodbanks 51 miles- a total of 277 miles

Day 7 From Peterborough to Whittlesey, March, Chatteris and on to Huntingdon Foodbank. 44 miles making a total of 321 miles. Tomorrow I head for Cottenham where I sometimes volunteer.

Day 8 From Huntingdon to St Neots, Cambourne, Cambridge and Girton and the on to Cottenham to rest awhile with my lovely fellow volunteers some of whom will be there this afternoon. 47 miles making

a total of 368 miles.

Day 9 from Cottenham Foodbank to Waterbeach, Burwell and Soham then on to Ely Foodbank 32 miles making a total of 400 miles. It would be great to get at least £400.
