When entering the working world I found myself with less time on my hands and subsequently started sitting around and getting less exercise. With this in mind, when I heard about the road to river event to support Young Bristol I realised it was a great opportunity to challenge myself and push myself to get fit again while working towards a goal of completing an event I previously wouldn't dream of doing. By donating to Young Bristol you would be funding youth clubs and holiday clubs for children across the country with the sole intent of getting children active, outdoors and healthy. More and more these days children have greater access to technology and as a result studies show that children are playing outside for half the time that their parents did at their age. This huge decline in children playing can cause issues with communication, confidence and the ability to work as a team. To help make a difference please donate if you can.
