Beeston Rylands Community Association have successfully applied for a grant which will cover 50% of the cost of 2 defibrillators.

One will be situated outside the Leyton Crescent Community Centre, where people using the park, football fields and playground can use it.

The second will be situated outside the new Plessey Centre, with access for all residents and users of the park and playground.

The cost of the defibrillators is £3000. 50% will be paid for by a grant from DHSC Community AED Grant Team. The units will be supplied by London Hearts.

We now need help from the community to raise the £1500 needed to make this happen! Councillor Kate Foale has given BRCA £200 from her divisional fund towards our target already.

If you are a qualified electrician and would like to donate your time to fit a defibrillator for us, please do get in touch.
