Our Vision is that every blind and partially sighted child and young person will have equal access to everything they need to flourish. Through engagement with blind and partially sighted children and their families, and stakeholders we will inform, empower, and educate to bring about change, build confidence, knowledge, and skills for families and professionals. The Core Values of Angel EyesAngel Eyes has grown since 2007 and remained in touch with its core values which are at the heart of the organisation and form the basis for our strategic direction. Our core values are:· Knowledge We empower families with information and skills to raise aspirations and make informed choices for their child. · InclusionWe work to identify and remove barriers to accessibility and inclusion and campaign for the rights of blind and partially sighted children. · Empathy and UnderstandingWe have lived experience in our team which is at the heart of all the support we deliver to families and their child. We have travelled the same road and understand the highs and lows of bringing up a child with a visual impairment. · Creating ChangeWe are passionate about creating innovate solutions, and where appropriate collaborating to overcome barriers to make a positive impact on the lives of blind and partially sighted children.

Our impact on the community
To have a child diagnosed with a lifelong eye condition resulting in a visual impairment can be devastating for the whole family. Angel Eyes NI is focussed on providing support from diagnosis to children, young people and their families to increase their confidence and knowledge to live their best life.
