THE ROUTE
The idea is to ride from John O'Groats to Lands End (JOGLE), being as self sufficient as possible using my own tent for shelter, cooking and repairing my own bike (hopefully not too much!). The route I have chosen is based off of the GBDURO, a 2000km route, through some of the most picturesque parts of the UK including the heart of Wales, meaning this isn't a straight line job either.
THE REASON WHY
Cycling has always been an important part of what I do. This trip has been a goal of mine for some time and finally the time has come, plus staying in a tent, with very few showers, eating your body weight in porridge for 2 weeks is fun right?
WHAT THE CHARITY IS ABOUT
The New Forest Bike Project charity does some great work for the local community around the New Forest area. They help people from all walks of life get on two wheels, which could mean transport to work or just igniting a new spark for a great hobby. Any donations, big or small, will be greatly appreciated!
HOW CAN I KEEP TRACK
I plan on documenting the trip through a mixture of media. I plan to post instagram stories a couple of times a day to keep everyone updated on what I'm up to and how far I've travelled, as well as a YouTube short film of my ride day by day.

About John O'Groats to Land End
This event is a self suffient 2000km route from John O'Groats to Lands End via wales. I have given myself a 2 week time frame, which will mean covering 140km a day atleast. I will be filming and posting story updates daily to document the trip.
