Salford Foodbank are doing fantastic work within the local community, providing food for those that need it most, feeding over 700 families in August alone!
I fear that the reliance on these services will only get worse as people are forced to choose between eating or keeping their house warm.
Having lived in Salford for over 14 years it has become our home. Over lockdown it became apparent quite how many people rely on Salford Foodbank so we decided to do a food collection on our street and got a fantastic response!
I have now decided to embark on a challenge to complete Manchester Marathon to raise money for this fantastic cause.
Any donation big or small would be greatly appreciated!
