LPW work with some of the most disadvantaged and socially excluded children and young people in Bristol, many of whom have been the victims of neglect or trauma and have experienced unstable or unsuitable home lives. As a consequence they lack social skills, confidence, self esteem, education and life skills that they will need as young adults. We are aiming to raise £2000 by taking part in this years Dragon Boat festival. Please support our team and help us hit our target!

LPW are entering a team in the 2018 Dragon Boat Festival, taking place at the Bristol Docks on September 1st. Our team will be made up colleagues, our friends/family, partner agencies/companies and anyone else that wants to join us! Our fundraising will help disadvantaged young people in Bristol access specialist help and support that they both need, and deserve to look forward to a more positive future. Join us! Every penny we raise will help transform young lives. Examples of what our fundraising could help to fund include: 1-2-1 support young people that have become victims of hate crime to rebuild their confidence and self esteem; Meaningful and positive diversions to reduce the risk of young people joining gangs and becoming involved in street crime; Structured support to young people that are at risk of school exclusion; LOTTY, our online support service for children and young people.
