The aim of the Eddystone Pursuit is to support charities who "benefit the human condition". On Saturday 18th June, Sam, Emma and I will be heading out 13 miles offshore to the Eddystone Lighthouse and back.
Like every year, our boat 'Fluency' will be sailing on behalf of Horizons Children's Sailing Charity.
At Horizons, our aim is to provide a safe and welcoming environment where children can go sailing, forget about any potential problems they may have at home or school and socialise with their friends. We do not get any government funding to do this, so we rely heavily on donations and grants. Any donation, big or small would be so gratefully welcomed!
