About The Big Sleep Out
No matter how hard life gets, remember to go to bed grateful that you have one.... I am sleeping rough in Dewsbury overnight on Friday 25th March to raise awareness/vital funds through sponsorship for Happy Days and contribute towards ending homelessness.
As I prepare to sleep out for the evening in question in March, can I ask you to prepare your hearts and consider donating to this essential fund raising event.
The Happydays charity wants to end homelessness in the UK, but this fundraiser is specifically created to help the homeless in Dewsbury to find a way off the streets forever, so they can rebuild their foundations in order to begin to live again.
Each night x10 local leaders will join David Fawcett the Happydays CEO in sleeping out. Dave will be sleeping out for all 5 nights using a Rucksacks 4 Homeless kit. He will not take any food or money and intends to rely on the hospitality of the people of Dewsbury to feed him.
