Mesothelioma is a dreadful terminal cancer caused by exposure to asbestos dust and fibres. The cancer usually develops in the lining that covers the outer surface of the body's vital organs.
Prognosis is poor, there is NO CURRENT CURE and treatments are limited.
Research and access to clinical trials are improving but desperately need funding to save lives.
5000 people should NOT die a year in the UK because there is no money for research.. Mesothelioma is preventable if there is awareness.
