We want patients in Wales to be able to advocate for themselves in making the case for early diagnosis and most effective treatment. FTWW has been working on a range of measures, including the creation of a very active online support group and the creation of educational resources for doctors and patients alike. A key part of what we're doing, however, is simply offering health-related advice and support to girls / women, whenever they need it.

Why they need our service

Fair Treatment for the Women of Wales FTWW is an organisation for women in Wales who feel they would benefit from practical advice/help/support in dealing with the health service. Currently, FTWW's main campaign is on endometriosis, although we also offer help and support to girls / women with a range of other physical and mental health conditions. This year we are proud to sponsor the WorldWide EndoMarch in Cardiff on 24th March 2018 We aim to turn Cardiff yellow to raise endo's profile.

Plan and expected results

The money would be used to cover the costs of bilingual awareness posters and leaflets. This will allow us to advertise our serivces in local GP surgeries, clinics and hospitals throughout Wales. This will allow the girls and women of Wales to be able to access support and advice, help them to understand their symptoms, and access best treatment.
