The purpose of the food bank project is to help reduce food insecurity for care leavers and these food parcels are needed to help support those most at risk during this financial climate.
The Food Bank is a service we offer here at Right Resolution CIC where we supply food supplies to care leavers in Northampton. The food bank is a service we started to support those who had left care, supporting them with weekly and monthly food and drink necessities ordered upon request.
One of our young people told us:
'The food bank has been a great help because it removes my biggest struggle of poverty and that's food stress. The food bank has almost everything I need to eat and is a great way for poorer people like me to eat happily and healthy.'
