Fr Jim and Nathan's Sponsored Slim

St Nicholas (Fr Jim) and helpful elf, Nathan are trying to lose weight before Christmas to make the sleigh run a little bit more smoothly this year. We are asking kind folks to sponsor us per lb.

Please sponsor what you can per lb and do not worry about stating a maximum – We know how things are at the moment!

I am not quite sure how this works and you might only be able to sponsor an amount - but we'll still let you know the total tonnage lost!

We will have a final weigh in (at Slimming World) as near to Christmas as they are open and that will be the end of the sponsored period – though we hope to continue losing weight (unsponsored) next year.

We started at Slimming World on Monday 6th November. Last weigh in should be 18th December – Six weeks in total.

Any money raised will go to the Stripey Stork Charity which ensures that families with children can have a great Christmas and also helps with providing them with essentials throughout the year. We hope to deliver donations when we take the sleigh up to the Stripey Stork depot to deliver toys kindly donated by Fr Jim's parishioners just before Christmas.

Latest update: As of last weigh in, combined weight loss so far is 23lbs

New Weigh in today 27th Nov, and another 7lbs lost. Now at a total of 30lbs!

We made our final weigh in and the total lbs lost is 38.5lbs
