As a children's centre we are here to support the families of young children to give them the best start in life. With just £3000 we can build a centre like ours in Ghana to offer their children the same.
Why they need our serviceDue to rule changes around immigration affecting foreign workers in the UK, Kofa Ansah, Early Years Practitioner and well respected member of staff at Brentry and Henbury Children's centre for 8 years has had to return to his home country Ghana. Whist he and the children's centre were saddened by his departure, Kofi has turned his return home into a positive and is embarking on a mission to set up Ghana's first Children's Centre.
Plan and expected resultsKofi returned to Ghana two months ago and has already identified a suitable plot of land, has had plans drawn up for a building and is developing partnerships on the ground. Brentry and Henbury Children's Centre is excited to be able to act as a supportive partner for the project which may in time enable mutual learning for children in both countries.
