So here I am in my 60th year- Time to challenge myself!

This year I have already done two charity walks, I have walked the Macmillan Gower Marathon (42km) and the Jersey Island Walk (77km) during 2023. Both for charity.

Now to step it up, and undertake the Wadi Rum desert walk of 100kms.

The 100km walk will be pretty gruelling in the desert heat, but if it was just a walk in the park no one would want to sponsor me!
I don’t know the rest of the group and  I am hoping to make new friends and raise some money for Faith in Families along the way. What an excellent charity Faith in Families is. Their belief in children as the future is borne out by the practical range of services they offer in their three Community Cwtchs ( including  lunch clubs and  childcare) in the most deprived areas of Swansea.
