HDANI's Relay Teams for Belfast City Marathon
Huntington's Disease (HD) is an inherited condition that damages certain nerve cells in the brain. Both female and males with a family history of HD have a 50% risk of inheritance. HDANI currently support over 400 people living with or affected by HD throughout Northern Ireland. We run regional support groups, provide telephone and face to face advice and support as well events and befriending services.
This year for the first time HDANI will be entering three relay teams into the Belfast City Marathon being held on Sunday 5th May 2019. HDANI could not provide these services without support from our volunteers.
All donations raised for this event will be used to provide support services for people and families living with and affected by HD.
