Hannah's Marathon

I'm Hannah. A Mum, Paramedic, a non runner but one who is keen to raise all the money that I can for the The Ambulance Wish foundation and the Royal Brompton hospital. Two charities that are VERY close to my heart.

I was supposed to run the London Marathon in 2020 but covid put stop to that. I was pretty gutted and disappointed but it was unprecedented times (as we all know!) 
I continued training after but then found out I was expecting a baby o the Marathon was put on hold again. 2022 is now my year to get these miles done!!! 
I have already raised over £1500 for the charities (I am splitting the money 80/20 - 80% going to The Ambulance Wish Foundation UK.) 
Most training miles will now be with my baby in tow, she loves the fresh air and I love the company!

The Ambulance Wish Foundation UK:
Our aim is to make the impossible, possible. By providing the means to make a wish, however simple or complex, a reality. From initial contact we will then arrange every aspect of the wish. We welcome wishes big or small from everyone, adult or child. Nearly everything is possible and the transport for the wish is fulfilled free of charge. We can often arrange wishes at short notice and there is no waiting list.
This is a charity that I volunteer with.


The Royal Brompton:
The hospital who performed open heart surgery on my big brother in 1987, saving his life. They still give him the best care and treatment to this day. Myself and my family will be forever greatful. No more words can possibly thank them all enough.
