Hi everyone!

Having raised over £4,000 in 2023 as a double act with Matt Lofting at the Brighton Marathon, I decided I had one last long run left in me. It has always been a dream of mine to run the London Marathon and what better time to do it than the year before I turn 40!

My aim is to hit £2,000 in sponsorship. I'm already training hard with a 20 week plan from 'Runna' with a look to complete the marathon in as close to 4 hours as possible. Matt and a couple of other friends have promised to increase my sponsorship if I achieve anything less than 5 hours, so the challenge really is on!

Stevenage Community Trust is a fantastic local charity helping local people in need. Their projects include Christmas gift cards for the neediest families in the borough to ensure no child misses out on Christmas, and heating grants and hardship to assist anyone who finds themselves in tough circumstances. They also help local organisations such as schools, social clubs and other local charities who need assistance.
