Pendle Dogs are our local dog rescue helping the most needy dogs in our area and working with rescues all over the country to save the lives of all the dogs abandoned in our local stray pounds.

On an average week we move 5 or 6 dogs from the pounds to our foster homes and to rescue spaces, but on a busy week it can be as many as 20!!!

Our van we have used for years is now officially off the road with engine issues and its not viable to repair it. This van is a lifeline to so many dogs and we just don't know how we will cope without it.

After an appeal on Facebook for a bit of help we got so many fantastic offers of help from so many of you it was quite emotional and truly humbling to see all your support.

One offer of help went over and above anything we could have expected in the form of Jacob Ashworth from Walverden Auto Care Ltd who has generously given up time and funds and volunteered to help us replace the van with a new one that will last us for years to come

Jakob already has over £2000 in pledges from a couple of local businesses ( that will be added once this is set up). He has asked us to set this fundraiser up so that all of those who offered help can contribute to increasing this total and help with this wonderful gesture.
