Help Replace Stolen Charity Money
My name is Daniel. On Friday 4th February, I held a charity night at the Railway Club, Edgeley instead of having a 40th birthday party. I wanted to raise money for Men’s Minds Matter, a cause incredibly close to my heart as a suicide survivor and someone who struggles with multiple mental health disabilities. This charity provides crucial support for those in crisis, and I wanted to give back.
Thanks to the kindness and generosity of those who attended, we raised over £500 for this amazing cause. Unfortunately, £400 of this was in cash, and at some point between Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th February, it was stolen.
I am absolutely devastated and heartbroken. This has severely impacted my mental health, and I cannot begin to express the pain of seeing such an important cause suffer due to someone’s selfish actions.
The incredible locals at the Railway Club, spearheaded by my good friends Liam and Chris, are rallying together to help replace the stolen funds. They are organising a raffle to raise money, and I am deeply grateful for their support.
If you would like to help, please consider donating to this LocalGiving Page. Any amount, big or small, will make a difference and ensure this money reaches the charity it was meant for.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
